The Halicz Ukranian Orthodox Cemetery is located in the Gilbert Plains region of western Manitoba, an area that was largely settled by pioneers from the Ukraine and Germany.
It’s a simple prairie setting. A few scattered headstones topped by orthodox crosses.
In the background you can see the ruins of an old building, the remnants of the Halicz Ukranian Orthodox hall.
