After a 2020 that has kept some of its parks, including in California, closed and forced others, including Disney World in Florida, to limit visitors and some attractions, the company has big plans for 2021.
At the park’s Epcot, for instance, there will be a double-barreled food item: a ride that ‘shrinks’ visitors to rat size so they can join the chef-aspiring Ratatouille in the kitchen, and a new light-menu creperie in the French pavilion. Epcot will also get a new space-focused restaurant and a barge-based evening show in its lagoon.
A couple of new hotels will open, including one with a deep Star Wars theme and a re-do of the Polynesian Resort to reflect Disney’s Moana heroine. The Star Wars franchise will also have some new attractions added.
And, at some point during the year, Disney’s Hall of Presidents in the Magic Kingdom area will get a new resident, an animatronic robotic Joe Biden.
Was recently in Orlando and the city has more construction going on and also more crowds then I’ve ever seen before. If Covid 19 gets under control, Disney will have a banner year there
