Disney Magical Express, the contract bus service that offers free and easy connections from Orlando International Airport to the theme parks, will end after this year.
The company says it’s dropping the service because “vacationers have more options to choose from than ever for transportation, including ride-share services that save time and offer more flexibility.” In recent years, Disney has had made Lyft its official ride-share partner.
With Disney’s business down and many employees on furlough, cost reduction may also be a factor in the elimination of the bus service.
