Clearance sale on cruise ship food

If you’re a fan of cruise ship buffets, and have been missing them for the past year, an online auction at a cruise ship supplier’s warehouse could give you the means to do it at home. If, of course, you have the space, and the crew, and … oh, well. Might as wait until the ships sail again.

But, if you really can’t wait that long, it’s not to late to register for the week-long auction starting tomorrow at the Miami warehouse, soon to close, of Kansas Marine, a supplier to many cruise lines. Bidding starts tomorrow, online viewing on Feb. 22, and bid opening on Feb. 23.

Here’s a (partial) list from A-to-nearly-Z of what’s on offer for your midnight meal: ppetizers, Asian seafood, bagels, bar mixes, base cream, beans, lentils, beverages, bread, bread mix, cakes, cake mix, candy, cereal, cherries, cheese, chips, chocolate, coconut, coffee and tea, coloring, condiments, cookie dough, cookies, cooking wine, couscous, crackers, crème brulee, croissants, dairy, deserts, dessert macarons, donuts, dough, dressing, eggs, extract, fillings, flour, fruit color, fruits, glaze, grits, honey, ice cream, jams, jelly, kosher products, meats, milks, muffin and pancake mixes, mousse, nuts, oil, olives, pasta, paste, pastry. pastry cream, peanuts, pie, pizza, potatoes, poultry, puree, rice, salt, sauce, sausages, seafood, seasoning, soup base, spices, sugar, syrup, toppings, tortillas, vegan products, vegetables, vinegar, waffles, and more.
