What was already the Guinness World Record holder for snow mazes last year has doubled in size this year to over 240,000 square feet or over 5.5 acres of white walls for you to get lost in…or out of.
The maze is near Saint Adolphe, Manitoba, a small town near Winnipeg, and is part of a year-round attraction A Maze In Corn that has a similar maze, but in a cornfield in summer and a haunted house in the fall.
The labyrinth site’s co-owner and designer told a local radio station that the increased size is pandemic-inspired: “This year, just with COVID, we’ve got to go larger, so now there’s eight-foot wide paths, so there’s more than enough room for people to pass safely.”
