If you’ve ever wondered what happens when a couple falls out of love and they’re still ‘locked’ to each other on some random bridge or monument? Well, ordinarily, the answer would be ‘nothing.’
But not for Kassie Yeung. She fell so out of love with the former boyfriend she shared a lock with on Korea’s North Seoul Tower that she made a 6,000-mile journey back to Seoul to clip the lock.
And she made a Tik-Tok video to record the journey; it’s gotten over 6 million views there and on YouTube.
The video includes her trip to Korea from the U.S., a cable-car ride to the tower, and part of her 30-minute search to finally locate the right lock.
Spoiler: it wasn’t really only to cut the lock: the bilingual 23-year-old had a new job waiting for her in Seoul. But who wants to spoil a good story?
