The Oasapegal Heritage Park in Pabineau First Nation is a beautiful small park near the Pabineau River in New Brunswick. The park site has some very nice trails and is a very important site for the Mi’kmaq.
Winters are harsh in New Brunswick. This particular trail didn’t seem to have a big maintenance budget and it looks like people have been using snowmobiles and ATV’s when they were not supposed to. Others have put obstructions on the trail to stop them. The part of the trail we were able to walk was beautiful.
