Minute Suites pivots from naps to work

The Minute Suites chain, which offers travelers small rooms to nap or relax and take part in ‘wellness’ breaks while on layover in airports has a different plan for its next location: Work.

Soon to be opened in the new Terminal B at New York LaGuardia, the new Minute Suites Express (sounds like it’s speeding up!) will offer five rooms, named for New York’s boroughs, equipped with a desk, charging stations, task chair and two slightly claustrophobic looking guest chairs for meetings. For those not totally committed to work, TV and board games are also on hand.

The company, which already operates nap-focused sites in Atlanta, Baltimore, Charlotte, DFW, Nashville and Philadelphia, plans to open at least a dozen more Express locations in the near future.
