In New York City’s Battery Park is the East Coast Memorial. It is a tribute to Americans who lost their lives at sea along the country’s east coast during Work War II. At the center of the memorial is a statue of a fighting eagle sculpted by Albino Marco.

A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
