One of my fondest memories of Disneyland Park from childhood is Storybook Land Canal Boats. In 1962, my parents, brother, and I visited the park in Anaheim, California.
Naturally, I wanted to share the experience with my six-year-old granddaughter during a recent visit.
We boarded a boat and sailed through the whale’s mouth to a land of miniature houses where Disney characters live. Of course, many have changed over the years, but I was thrilled to see Mr. Toad’s place, one I remembered from my own childhood experience.
As we sailed, the Casey Jr. Circus Train passed by as well.
Magic is simply timeless!
