Here’s one luxury perk most of us will never be invited to, no matter what elite loyalty level we’ve reached: Emirates Airways newest lounge at its Dubai home base. That’s because it’s strictly for unaccompanied minors and their airline chaperones.
Located next to the airline’s first-class lounge, it’s stocked with kid-friendly snacks, kid-sized washrooms and furniture, WiFi and plenty of video games and other activities. Not to mention kid-sized headsets, fifty Disney movies and 130 TV channels.
With Dubai operating as a hub connecting flights in Emirates’ network, there are quite a few young travelers passing through. In addition to the lounge, the unaccompanied minor service includes priority check-in and boarding, all with escorts.
