You’ve got six months to see if you can come up with a funny animal picture that can top the list in the annual Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards. That’s one of a past year’s finalists just above.
The contest, which ends in October, is run from a webpage started by Paul Joynson-Hicks, a wildlife photographer who realized the comic potential of some of his images. The contest produces plenty of amusing images, and also draws attention to wildlife conservation needs. It also provides some funding each year for small grass-roots conservation organizations.
And since there’s nothing like funny animal pictures, really, here’s a link to all the past finalists and winners.
