Little America, Flagstaff, Arizona

You know how it is. You’ve driven to your destination or flown. Either way, travel can be exhausting and stressful. I had just driven five hours — more than 300 miles — from Tombstone to Flagstaff, Arizona, and I was tired.

I was told, following my GPS instructions, “your destination is on the right.” As I pulled off a busy city street, I was immediately in a beautiful and welcoming complex. Little America Flagstaff is set in 500 acres of Ponderosa Pine forest.

The friendly desk clerk checked me in and gave me a room map. Several buildings house 247 rooms, and I also noticed a hiking path.

This hotel is exceptional and just what I needed after my long day of travel.

The hotel is Flagstaff’s only AAA-approved Four Diamond hotel. It combines hospitality with the natural beauty of Northern Arizona.

Later that day, I enjoyed dinner at Silver Pine Restaurant & Bar. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

This beautiful hotel is an excellent destination when visiting this welcoming city. I can highly recommend it.
