The spectacular Cliffs of Moher on Ireland’s Atlantic Coast are now able to welcome visitors who can’t make the walk up from the visitor center at their base, with a new buggy service.
The electric buggies offer a circuit tour of the site, from viewing platforms to O’Brien’s Tower at their top, which otherwise require a long walk up to the top for views of the waves crashing below.
A press release pointed out that “People who have limited mobility for whatever reason should have the opportunity to see the cliffs and the waves crashing down at the base of the cliffs,” and that the carts make this possible.
