Done properly, fly fishing is a thing of beauty. If you’ve not seen “A River Runs Through it,” I suggest you give it a look to see what I mean.
I know many people who are SERIOUS fly-fishermen. By serious I mean they are into the whole package — the right clothes and boots, top quality fly rods and reels. The true die-hards learn to tie all of their own flies and spend every free day fishing.
There are many of us who enjoy dabbling in fishing but aren’t as serious as some. For folks like me, there’s Fly Fishing shops like this one in Missoula, Montana. Grizzly Hackle has a massive collection of gear and flies, some of which are illustrated below:
Besides flies there are displays of rods, reels, and clothes.
Last weekend’s One Clue Mystery Photo featured the following piece of license plate art on display in Grizzly Hackle. I thought this photo would stump our travel detectives, but George G worked his magic and solved where we were. Congratulations, George, for your superb problem solving.
