We were in South Africa, driving through Sabi Sand Game Reserve, when this bull elephant decided we shouldn’t be allowed to pass.
As our guide inched the vehicle forward the elephant became more aggressive, showering us with a trunkful of dirt.
Finally, he relented and we were able to go on our way.
The 65,000-hectare Sabi Sand Game Reserve is adjacent to and shares an unfenced border with the famous Kruger National Park, but it is a private reserve offering outstanding game viewing opportunities.
