My wife and I enjoyed our rambling in downtown Orlando last year. It was late fall and the weather was pretty much perfect. Downtown Orlando is well removed from the theme parks and is quite modern, with a few older buildings mixed in. Here and there were some interesting pieces of sidewalk art, like these classic figures…
Most cities wouldn’t feature statues of an alligator and an alligator being wrestled, but the area around Orlando used to be very swampy so the work seems appropriate to the site.
I liked these murals….
While not art in the usual sense, the Corona cigar shop had some nicely detailed doors, and chairs in which to sit back to puff a stogie…
