New York’s new LaGuardia Terminal C, Delta’s hub in New York, comes with a wide array of services and eateries, but one of them, or maybe that’s two of them, has something unique.
The two, operated by airport caterer OTG, are a breakfast cafe that goes by Poppy’s Bagels, and a bar and grill called The Line Sports Grill. You’ll need to watch the time if you’re telling a fellow traveler to meet you there, because at the stroke of 11 am, Poppy’s disappears, along with its signs, and The Line opens.
Poppy’s offers baked-on-premises bagels with a variety of spreads as well as other breakfast items; after the change-over it’s all local beers and wines, loaded fries, nachos, wings and other sports bar favorites—along with an array of array of giant screens featuring current games. Both restaurants share the same kitchen.
