Travelers buying tickets on Breeze Airways’ newest route will need to keep their eyes on the airport codes to make sure they’re traveling in the right direction, since the flight is from Charleston to Charleston, but in two different states.
The route on the discount carrier links one of its primary bases at Charleston, South Carolina with Charleston, West Virginia with flights Wednesday and Saturday during the summer season. Breeze will also fly to Orlando from its new West Virginia city, also Wednesday and Saturday, but with a year-round route.
Charleston, West Virginia is the airline’s 20th destination from the Charleston, South Carolina, according to data from Cirium. Other destinations from Charleston, South Carolina, include Columbus, Ohio; White Plains, New York; and Providence.
