Bus service back for Toronto-to-Midwest

Trailways.ca is restoring one of its key pre-pandemic routes, a straight shot across southern Ontario to link Toronto with Windsor, Ontario and its across-the-river mate, Detroit.

The route also means Canadian bus connections to Chicago and many other U.S. Midwest cities via connections in Detroit. Stops in Ontario include Chatham and London. The Detroit-to-Toronto route has been without daily service since 2020. Trailways has also reinstated a number of other routes, including Toronto to New York. Fares on the new route start at around $60.

The service will be using low-emission buses operated by Trailways of New York, with WiFi, electric outlets, restrooms and seating for persons with disabilities
