United Airlines, which has been battling Southwest Airlines for dominance at Denver International Airport, has just fired a big new salvo of routes and amenities.
The airline announced Tuesday that it will add 35 flights, six destinations and three new United lounges, one of them the largest in the airline’s network. The new routes will all be in place by fall. It’s also adding a ‘bank’ of new morning flights to some oof its busiest destinations, including Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego and Seattle.
The six new destinations are Dayton, Ohio, Greensboro, South Carolina, Lexington, Kentucky and San Juan, Asheville, North Carolina and Montego Bay, Jamaica.
