Southwest Airlines will be flying to a lot more places next summer, as its upcoming schedule adds 30 new routes, including numbers of new cities, and reinstates 66 summer seasonal routes.
Many of the summer routes will replace current winter seasonal routes, and most are weekend-only, reflecting the big summer boost in vacation travel.
The flights involved include both long-haul transcontinental and international flights as well as fairly short hops connecting smaller cities to Southwest’s hubs.
