In a radical twist on airline food, a Ryanair flight attendant has posted a video of himself mixing and baking a chocolate cake inflight.
The stunt took place on a long-haul Ryanair flight at 35,000 feet, with Miguel Vasconcelos starting with a chocolate cake mix, adding eggs, oil, water and chocolate chips, and then baking the cake in a galley oven. At the end of the video, he asks for suggestions of what to bake next.
Comments on his Instagram and TikTok posts were mixed; some applauded the idea, while others complained that he should have been providing more service to passengers on the plane instead of baking.
