Police in Delft, the Netherlands, have arrested a man who skipped out on his restaurant bill after dining and treating others to drinks—at least 127 times.
The serial absconder was taken into custody last week while faking a stroke to get out of paying the bill. Ambulance crew who checked him out realized he was faking and refused to take him away.
Police were called and the man was arrested and locked in a cell. A spokesman confirmed that the man was known to have eaten at restaurants 127 times without paying. “We conducted a civil case against him but because he didn’t stop we took action this weekend,” he told local media
