The Lough Erne Resort in Ireland is reaching out, likely with its left hand, to left-handed people with special offers, including rooms “specially arranged for left-handers.”
The package, which goes for €384 a night for a couple, includes an overnight stay, dinner and breakfast. According to Helen McCune, Deputy General Manager, “It’s time to celebrate left-handed people and to raise awareness of some of the experiences many of them face in a world imagined largely with right-handed people in mind.”
Guest amenities include a notebook, pen and card game designed for left-handers. In the restaurant, “left-handers will notice place settings and service have been adapted to their needs.”
Guests can also upgrade and enjoy a left-handed golf lesson with PGA pro Damian Mooney or experience a round of left-handed golf at one of the resort’s two golf courses.
