Acadia National Park, on Mount Desert Island in Maine, has many beautiful sights. Among the best is Jordan Pond. The Bubble Rocks tower over the north end of pond, giving a dramatic feel, especially on a cloudy day, when the space feels like it is closing in.
A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
