Dunkin’, which dropped the ‘Donuts’ a few years ago, is getting ready to invade France next year, with a plan to open ‘numerous franchises’ throughout France.
Belgian fast food operator QSRP, which has the franchise rights for France, says it will open its first store in Paris on the way to spreading around the country. Worldwide, the Dunkin’ brand has 13,700 stores across nearly 40 countries. Belgium has 20; when the first opened four years ago in Antwerp, the crowds were so big they had to be controlled by police.
QSRP, founded in 2014, manages or operates about 1,400 restaurants across Europe under various brands, including Quick and Burger King in Belgium, Chick&Cheez in Belgium and Nordsee in Germany and Austria.
