Whether you call it autumn or fall, it’s a colourful time of year when deciduous trees in certain regions display vivid hues of yellow, red and gold before shedding their leaves.
The Southern Highlands of New South Wales, where I live, is one such region, although it’s not typical of Australia as a whole.
I took these photos a few weeks ago in the main town of Bowral, before the onset of winter.
