The park is full of little monuments like this bridge. The swan seemed to actively seek company, although it must have been obvious that we were not a source of food. In the end it settled down next to our bench.
A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
