The city has installed 75 mobile drinking water fountains, which are in use from April to September (particularly in the tourist areas). They go by the nickname of ‘Brunnhilde’ and are proving very popular during the current heatwave.

A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
