A new alliance between Eurostar and the SkyTeam airline alliance aims to make one-itinerary connections for travelers to and around Europe.
Customers flying into SkyTeam’s main European hubs, including London, Paris and Amsterdam will find it easier to connect with Eurostar’s routes with destinations in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
Eurostar will be SkyTeam’s first non-airline partner, although a long-time alliance between SkyTeam member KLM and Eurostar is credited with a reduction in flights between Amsterdam and Brussels.
The two organizations have signed a memorandum of understanding and expect to launch the actual partnership in the first half of 2025. Eurostar, which has 28 destinations, served 19 million passengers last year and has a goal of reaching 30 million over time.
