Beams from Above

This was one of those moments when you see something and you have to pull the car over.

I was traveling home from a video shoot coming from Clark Fork toward Sandpoint, Idaho and a storm was just wrapping up. The sky looked so amazing, I pulled off the highway and broke out the camera. I couldn’t get far enough over to still capture the full picture and not get the tree on the right. It was literally a cliff. So, I did my best to balance it and I think it turned out okay.

I love the many layers and textures. The original picture was in color but switching to black and white brought out the mountains in the distance.
