While traveling from Casablanca to Fes, we stopped in a village named Mhaya for a home-cooked lunch. Lunch was delicious and included a pepper/tomato salad, eggplant prepared with tomato, lentils, and lemon chicken.
Dinner ended with mint tea, and cookies. The tea was prepared by a young Berber girl in traditional dress, who after brewing it poured it in the Moroccan way. — from as high as possible (without spilling) in order to generate foam at the top of the glass.
The meal was excellent and the experience a lot of fun.
