Not the Loch Ness Monster

This amusing but not very lifelike replica of the Loch Ness Monster stands alongside the Caledonian Canal at Fort Augustus, a village at the south-western tip of Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands.

A climbing plant trained to grow up a wire frame reminds visitors how close they are to the famous loch (less than a mile) and its mythical monster.

I’m always amazed at how clever people are. I love this sort of stuff!

Thanks, Judy!
