Well, it was hard to think of a more appropriate headline than that—and it’s a Guinness-certified record in a category we’ll wager almost none of you thought existed.
And yet, here it is, complete with an image courtesy of Guinness. It’s just opened at the Campuestohan Highland Resort in Negros Occidental. Rates start at £60 a night, which is not exactkt chickenfeed.
The 10-story rooster is about 35 meters high, 12 meters across and 28 meters long, and you’ll be pleased to know it’s been designed to withstand the typhoons that are not uncommon in the mountainous area. The 15 rooms are equipped with beds, TV and showers—but no windows.
