Airlines are hiring pilots for the first time in years. This coupled with new stricter regulations for pilots and the hours they fly is creating a shortage of pilots. Hardest hit are the regional airlines who pay the lowest salaries.

A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
