While visiting Xi’an, the city where the famous Emperor Qin’s Terracotta Museum is located, we came cross a massive “Xi’an Dumpling House” — a tourist popular all-dumpling restaurant which serves up to 25 different types of dumplings in carefully crafted animal or vegetable shapes and in a variety of colors. Diners can choose from a varying list of combinations and the dumplingscan be served steamed or boiled right on the table in a hot pot. An enjoyable experience after a long day of site seeing!
More scenes from the dumping house…..
And in the same city, Emperor Qin’s Terracota Museum:
Those dumplings look amazing, Dr.Y. Almost too attractive to eat. “Food as art”!
Do they taste as good as they look? And did you bring any samples back with you.
Yes, DrFumblefinger, those dumplings are as tasty as they look. But I am also thinking they might have all looked the same in my stomach
The trip was very enjoyable for us!
