Several years ago, perhaps inspired by my search for new front doors for our own home, I began to take special notice of the doors I passed on my way around town. When my husband and I traveled on vacation I found myself noticing the doors of businesses and homes more acutely than I had in the past. I began photographing the doors and gates I found most attractive, unusual, or in some way striking. My husband began encouraging me to write a blog and share some of my favorites some time ago, and being very persistent, he has finally managed to elicit “Las Puertas de Argentina” from me.
