A playground on the Left Bank of the Seine

If you’re heading to Paris with your family, or even if its just to appeal to the kid in you, be sure you stop by Les Berges, a mile-long play space on the Left Bank of the Seine River.

The place is laid out with play in mind.  You’ll likely see kids skateboarding, playing hopscotch or swingball, climbing frames — just having fun the way kids have always had.  There’s a running track, crates you can rent to snooze in, and kid-friendly food vendors that serve pizza and hot chocolate and the like.  And there’s music.  Lots of music.

Check it out the next time you’re in Paris.  I know I will.
