Tutankhamun tomb in Egypt’s Valley of the Kings will close from October until finished, the antiquities ministry announced on Sunday. King Tutankhamun’s mummy will moved to another tomb chamber to protect it during restorations.
Antiquities Minister Mamduh al-Damati described the tomb as one of Egypts most important archeological sites and said they decided to restore it to preserve and protect it.
