Boeing Chief Executive Dennis Muilenburg announced China’s commitment to buy 300 aircraft before he introduced the visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping in Everett on Wednesday. That’s the largest jet order in history.
What was not announced from the stage is that Boeing had signed deals to put a 737 jet-completion and delivery center in China. The completion center will be jointly run with Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC)
