Kuwait will require its citizens, temporary residents and tourists to submit DNA samples. Collections for visitors will be done at a special center at Kuwait International Airport.

I think this is horrible. Lets see if people will elect to still travel there. I won’t be for sure.
Nor will I, Rob (not that it was on my list, in any case, so no loss). And we thought the full-body scanners were invasive!
This is amazingly creepy. Perhaps they want to run genetic profiles on their visiting guests — things that might tell them if they have, say, a Jewish heritage. I don’t think the Kuwaiti monarchy has any idea of how most people will react to such a test, but they also might not care.
