Definitely not for those who get queasy looking down from heights. Developers of a new skyscraper in Dubai are planning a space-walk like experience for visitors who like to have a gasp with their panoramic views.
Guests will leave the 78th-floor restaurant and lounge of the building onto an open-air ledge (with a harness, thank you!) and will then be hauled up two floors to a glass “viewing capsule.”
It’s not the first building, by the way, to add a daredevil aspect to its observation deck; the Sky Slide opened earlier this year in Los Angeles. Visitors can pay to leave the 70th floor, 1000 feet above the street, and ride a 45-foot slide down to a viewing area.
The CN Tower in Toronto has a walk you do at the top of the tower (on the outside) that looks similar to this photo.
Thanks, but no thanks!
Sorry , I cant even look at that photo without a cold shiver !
