Gumbo has left the mountains and thin air of Colorado and gone to a more “developed” place. Like nearly all civilized places, there are periods in its past that are remembered fondly and other periods that would rather be forgotten. This destination has elements of both, with a sample of the unsavory in our first photo clue.
