In Chile, we found many free-range dogs; they wander at will, and mostly sleep through the day in shady spots. But that’s not true for Osita (Little Bear), who’s known as the most famous, and most photogenic dog in Valparaiso.
Osita lives on the Cordillera Hill, in a spot so well established as hers that her portrait has been painted on the stoop, with her name and tribute (the pampered one). She’s always ready to pose, most often in the one-ear-cocked position immortalized by the painter.
I’m nominating Osita for the UNESCO World Heritage List…
Love this! I’d support that nomination
