Hawaiian Airlines and Japan Airlines have agreed to code-share flights between the two archipelagoes, starting next March.
Hawaii is a popular destination for Japanese travelers, and the code-sharing will increase options for travelers in that direction, while Hawaii-originating passengers will now be able to book travel to more destinations in Japan, using JAL’s domestic network.
Loyalty program members will earn miles on code-shared flights, choosing which airline’s miles to earn. Lounge access and other privileges will also be shared.
