Skiers who purchased insurance to save their vacations if they couldn’t ski have been warned by insurers that it only covers vacations spoiled by not enough snow to go downhill.
That’s an issue this week because many Swiss and French Alpine resorts have been hit with heavier-than-usual snows and winds up to 200 km/h, keeping skiers indoors at resorts or at home.
However, it appears that skiers who can’t get home because of the weather may have a claim.
