One of the most impressive carousels I’ve ever seen, above, in all its double-deck glory at night when it was operating near Place Republique.
I’ve sometimes thought of France as the land of the carousel, because there are so many ranging from little ones, like the one above in the Clignancourt neighborhood where we usually stay, to ones with fantastical creatures and carriages, such as the one below, at the Jardin des Plantes.
