Florida and Hawaii totally dominate this year’s TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice awards for the top 25 American beaches, taking 17 of the spots between them.
The awards, based on its members’ reviews and ratings, named Clearwater Beach, Florida as #1 for the second year in a row. Of the rest, nine more are in Florida, seven in Hawaii, two each in California and South Carolina and one each in Georgia, Maine, Massachusetts and Virginia.
Trip Advisor also has an international top 25, with Baia do Sancho in Brazil at the top. Clearwater comes in at #6 in the world and Ka’anapali in Hawaii at #14. Greece, Brazil and Australia are the only other countries with two winners.
