Over last weekend, TSA issued good news for travelers looking to get on board quickly and fly: five more airlines have joined the PreCheck program that allows ‘trusted travelers’ access to a less-stringent security and less-crowded lanes.
The newcomers are Austrian Airlines, Interjet, PAL Express, Swoop and VivaAerobus. Four of the airlines have relatively limited U.S. schedules, but Swoop, the ultra-low-cost component of Canada’s WestJet, has been aggressively growing its cross-border business and has dozens of daily flights from the U.S.
